MUMBAI, India, April 17 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641043119 A) filed by Meenakshi Academy Of Higher Education And Research, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on April 4, for 'a system and method for ai-based clinical decision support and treatment optimization.'
Inventor(s) include Aishwarya; Akila K; Poongodi V; Rajasekhar Kk; Sridevi Sangeetha K S; Johnsi Inbakumari; Kavitha M; Sugasri Sureshkumar; Aarthi A; and Karthika P.
The application for the patent was published on April 17, under issue no. 16/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A System and Method for AI-Based Clinical Decision Support and Treatment Optimization The present disclosure relates to a system and method for delivering artificial intelligence-driven clinical decision support and treatment optimization. The system has a data acquisition interface for getting multimodal patient data, a bio-signal fusion module for creating a single patient state, and a digital twin simulation engine for modeling the physiological conditions of each patient and predicting how well treatment will work. A federated learning module lets you train models across different healthcare settings without giving up your privacy. A neuromorphic explainable reasoning engine, on the other hand, gives you interpretable clinical insights. The system also has an optimization engine based on reinforcement learning that dynamically improves treatment plans and an audit module based on blockchain technology that securely and traceably records clinical decisions. The method allows for the simulation and validation of treatment options before they are put into action. This makes decisions more accurate, lowers clinical risks, and improves patient outcomes by using real-time, adaptive, and personalized healthcare management."
