MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541133369 A) filed by Meenakshi Academy Of Higher Education And Research, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on Dec. 30, 2025, for 'a system and method for ai-assisted medical diagnosis and predictive health analysis.'

Inventor(s) include Jayannan; Poongodi S; Fabiola M Dhanraj; and Ramnath V.

The application for the patent was published on Jan. 9, under issue no. 02/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A System and Method for AI-Assisted Medical Diagnosis and Predictive Health Analysis The present disclosure pertains to a system and method to facilitate AI-assisted medical diagnosis and predictive health analysis. The system itself makes use of a Bio-Digital Twin Generation Engine which builds a real-time digital twin of the subject, a Context-Aware Multimodal Fusion Module which collects and integrates physiological, biochemical, imaging, and behavioural data, a Quantum-Inspired Diagnostic Reasoning Engine which performs probabilistic diagnosis through parallel multi-hypothesis evaluation, and a Predictive Risk Evolution Simulator which uses reinforcement learning to predict disease progression. The Clinician-in-the-Loop Explainability Interface provides interpretable diagnostic conclusions and reasoning, and the Federated Privacy and Learning Module provides secure and decentralized model training. The method encompasses acquisition of multimodal data, generating a Bio-State Vector, performing quantum-inspired reasoning, and generating interpretable, predictive diagnostic conclusions. The invention provides a technologically advanced, adaptive, and privacy-appropriate diagnostic framework that enhances medical accuracy, interpretability, and clinician trust, thereby meeting the technical effect, and inventive step under the Indian Patent Act, 1970."
