MUMBAI, India, Feb. 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641009494 A) filed by Pragati Engineering College, Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, on Jan. 30, for 'a system and method for adaptive user behavior analysis in software applications.'

Inventor(s) include Mrs. Pamulapati Lakshmi Satya; Ms. Harini Allampalli; Balla Siva Kalyani; Dhulipudi Swetha Nagamani; and Chintha Sai Siva Ganga Akshitha.

The application for the patent was published on Feb. 13, under issue no. 07/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A System and Method for Adaptive User Behavior Analysis in Software Applications The present disclosure relates to a system and method for adaptive user behavior analysis in software applications, employing real-time user interaction dynamics to dynamically modify software execution behavior. The system uses low-level execution instrumentation to capture multi-modal user interaction signals. It then calculates behavioral entropy parameters that show how stable the interaction is and how much cognitive load it puts on the user. The system dynamically changes software execution pathways, algorithmic complexity, thread prioritization, and computational resources like processor scheduling, memory usage, and interface rendering behavior while the program is running. This is all based on behavioral inference that takes causality into account. The method also includes feedback-based stability control and secure temporary storage of behavioral state vectors to make sure that adaptive operation is deterministic and keeps privacy. The current disclosure combines behavior-driven execution morphing with hardware-aware resource orchestration to create measurable technical benefits like lower execution latency, better use of resources, and faster system response times. The invention addresses the shortcomings of traditional user behavior analytics by offering a definitive and practical technical solution for real-time adaptive software execution."
