MUMBAI, India, Feb. 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541097960 A) filed by Manipal Academy Of Higher Education, Manipal, Karnataka, on Oct. 10, 2025, for 'a system and method for a digital cutting board apparatus.'

The connectivity module 207 allows the board to interface with smartphones or tablets, providing access to recipes and nutritional information. The Adaptive sanitizer unit 209 reduces bacterial contamination, promoting food safety. The non-slip base ensures stability during use."
