MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521105696 A) filed by Ahmedabad University, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, on Oct. 31, for 'a system and a method for detecting an event in real time.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure relates to a system (100) and a method (300) for detecting an event (140) in real time. The system (100) includes a plurality of stationary units (120) installed at predefined intervals from each other. Each of the plurality of stationary units (120) includes a second microcontroller system (M2) adapted to communicate with a first microcontroller system (M1). The second microcontroller system is configured (M2) to receive an event notification message, transmitted from the first microcontroller system (M1) installed in the at least one mobile unit (110), convert the event notification message received into an alert prompt indicative of the event (140), and transmit the alert prompt to each first microcontroller system (M1) for detection of the event (140) in real time. The system (100) and method (300) disclosed herein help vehicle commuters to know of any untoward events (140) present in their pathway (130)."
