MUMBAI, India, July 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541027381 A) filed by Kalaichelvan S, Nagapattinam, Tamil Nadu, on March 24, for 'a system and a method for controlling electrical load.'
Inventor(s) include Kalaichelvan S.
The application for the patent was published on July 11, under issue no. 28/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The disclosure herein relates to a system (100, 200) and a method (300) for controlling electrical load (10, 12, 14, 16). The system (100) includes a sensor module (102), at least a switching device (104), and a processing module (106). The system (100) is configured to capture a real-time visual data, identify at least one entity (18, 20) on the data, and detect the interaction of the entity (18, 20) with at least one user defined zone (120). On detecting the interaction of the entity (18, 20) with the user defined zone (120), the system (100) operates the at least one electrical load (10, 12, 14, 16) assigned to the user defined zone (120). The system enables automatic zone-based controlling of electrical load. The system helps to optimize energy consumption by selectively activating the electrical loads. The system enables cloud-based monitoring and analysis of energy consumption."
