MUMBAI, India, May 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611053216 A) filed by Noida Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, on April 27, for 'a synthetic gene circuit for precise metabolic regulation.'
Inventor(s) include Pinky Kothari; and Dr. Dolly Sharma.
The application for the patent was published on May 29, under issue no. 22/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A synthetic gene circuit for precise metabolic regulation is disclosed. The circuit includes a sensory input module for detecting metabolic state indicators, a signal conditioning module for calibrating biological inputs, a logic integration module for evaluating control criteria, an effector control module for regulating pathway genes, a feedback node for corrective adjustment, and a host metabolic pathway block. The arrangement enables adaptive flux control, reduced intermediate accumulation, improved production stability, and tunable pathway performance in engineered host cells."
