According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a sustainable bamboo-based protective case for portable computing devices such as laptops. The protective case comprises a shaped body made primarily from bamboo material, including a base portion, a cover portion, access formations, corner protection, and optional internal cushioning or reinforcement layers. The bamboo material may be provided as bamboo veneer, laminated bamboo sheet, compressed bamboo panel, engineered bamboo board, or bamboo fibre composite, and may be treated by drying, polishing, sealing, coating, or natural finishing to improve durability and dimensional stability. The case includes port openings, ventilation formations, hinge clearances, and engagement means for secure attachment without obstructing device operation. The invention provides an eco-friendly alternative to conventional plastic laptop cases by combining renewable material usage, mechanical protection, natural aesthetics, manufacturability, and reduced environmental impact."
