Rotation of the actuation knob (8) generates a pulling force on the suction member (2) while the cap body (6) applies pressure to peripheral regions of the suction member (2), thereby creating and maintaining a vacuum region (16) between the suction member (2) and a mounting surface (5). The cap body (6) further comprises a receiver slot (11) for removably supporting an object (12). The device provides improved vacuum retention, structural stability, and ease of installation for supporting objects on smooth surfaces."
