MUMBAI, India, April 20 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411076657 A) filed by Engineers India Limited, New Delhi, on Oct. 9, 2024, for 'a structure configured to support a plurality of tubes of a fired heater.'

Inventor(s) include Mandip Kapoor; Ashutosh; Hitesh Kumar Sharma; Surender Sharma; Rupam Mukherjee; Ankur Saini; and Balaji Srinivasan.

The application for the patent was published on April 17, under issue no. 16/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A structure (100) configured to support a plurality of tubes of a fired heater. The structure (100) includes a support member (10), a plurality of sleeves (20), an inlet channel (30), and an outlet channel (40). The inlet and outlet channels (30, 40) may be positioned on either side of the support member (10). The inlet channel (30) receives fluid and allows the received fluid to flow into the hollow region (HR), a portion of the fluid received into the hollow region (HR) contacts with at least one of the first wall (10a), the second wall (10c), the side walls (10d), and the plurality of sleeves (20), absorbs heat, and flows towards the outlet channel, and the outlet channel receives the fluid from the hollow portion (HR) and allows the received fluid to flow outwardly of the fired heater, to regulate the temperature of the support member (10)."
