MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441007063 A) filed by Tvs Motor Company Limited, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on Feb. 2, 2024, for 'a structural support member for a vehicle.'

Inventor(s) include Rahul Nandagavi; Naveen Natarajan Krishnakumar; and Anandapuram Shivaraj Kiran Kumar.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present subject matter relates to a structural support member (200) for a vehicle (100). The structural support member (200) comprises a base member (202), a holding structure (204c), a first front portion (204a) and a second front portion (204b). Additionally, the structural support member (200) is secured in a pre-defined region of the vehicle (100), to securely package vehicular components as well as route and hold the plurality of wires (120L, 120R) extending from them. The structural support member (200) is configured to secure one or more vehicular components such as an illuminating device (106) and one or more lighting units (104a, 104b) whilst securely routing and guiding a plurality of wires (120L, 120R) in the front portion (F) of the vehicle (100)."
