MUMBAI, India, Nov. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441037201 A) filed by TVS Motor Company Limited, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on May 10, 2024, for 'a straddle type vehicle.'

Inventor(s) include Rakesh Premchand; Chiranjeevi Vadivelu; Sornappan Banu Sharmanath; Siddapura Nagaraju Prashanth; and Lohit Vishwanath Patil.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to an arrestor assembly (103) and a straddle type vehicle (100). The straddle type vehicle (100) includes a frame assembly (101), an energy storage box (102) and at least one arrestor assembly (103). The energy storage box (102) is detachably attached to the frame assembly (101). The at least one arrestor assembly (103) is detachably attached to the energy storage box (102). The at least one arrestor assembly (103) comprising a first member (103A) and a second member (103B). The first member (103A) is operatively connected to the second member (103B) to arrest unintentional movement of one or more energy resources."
