MUMBAI, India, June 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202321087933 A) filed by Sanjay Awhale, Pune, Maharashtra, on Dec. 22, 2023, for 'a sports facility providing space for sports and exercise activities.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed is a sports facility providing space for sports and exercise activities, characterized for children and comprising of a terrace area (100) and an indoor space (200) at home. The terrace area (100) is covered by polymer net (101) which is fixed on a parapet (102) from all sides. A 10 step chart (104) is fixed in the polymer net, wherein children perform memory exercises by reading the 10 step chart (104). The indoor space (200) at home comprises of a bed (202), the space (207) in front of the bed enables children to perform various movements of playing sports and exercises or to stand. The wall (204) above the bed facilitates to fix various sports equipments (205), (206), (201). The wall (204) also provides support to the children to perform various exercises and sports, thereby enabling the children to perform various physical sports and exercises in a minimum space."
