The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention relates to a spindle assembly (100) for a pin mill in a cryogenic grinding environment. The spindle assembly (100) may include a shaft (102), coupled to a pin mill disc (406) and a timing pulley (604). A bearing housing (104) may be provided for enclosing the shaft (102). A bearing assembly (110) may be disposed within the bearing housing (104) and operatively coupled to the shaft (102) to provide a radial and an axial support to the shaft (102). A preloading element (112) may be disposed within the bearing housing (104) to maintain an axial rigidity of the shaft (102) under a thermal contraction. A multi-stage sealing element (114) may be disposed within the bearing housing (104), adapted to prevent ingress of a moisture and a cryogenic vapour into the bearing assembly (110). A thermal sleeve (302) may be disposed concentrically over an exposed region of the shaft (102)."
