MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511113994 A) filed by Sharda University, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, on Nov. 19, 2025, for 'a smart waste management system and method.'
Inventor(s) include Srishti Singh Chauhan; Rahan; Nikhil Ranjan; Dr. Anubhav Srivastava; Dr. Shikha Verma; and Dr. Rosey Jadon.
The application for the patent was published on Jan. 9, under issue no. 02/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a smart waste management system for automatic waste segregation and collection based on Internet of things (IoT) technology.
