MUMBAI, India, Feb. 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511134704 A) filed by Suraj Arya; and Central University Of Haryana, Mahendragarh, Haryana, on Dec. 31, 2025, for 'a smart two-wheeler safety system using sensors for overload detection.'
Inventor(s) include Suraj Arya.
The application for the patent was published on Feb. 13, under issue no. 07/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "In real life, we observe that two-wheelers like scooters and motorcycles often carry more passengers than they are designed for. In this situation, it becomes difficult to control the vehicle, and the likelihood of an accident increases significantly. Therefore, it is crucial to identify overloading of two-wheelers in a timely manner. The present invention accomplishes this task through a sensor-based system. This invention not only prevents overloading but also generates an alert when overloading occurs. Furthermore, it is capable of providing information to the authorities, including the real-time location of the overloaded vehicle."
