MUMBAI, India, Jan. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511101988 A) filed by Graphic Era, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, on Oct. 23, 2025, for 'a smart nanoparticle device for targeted delivery of rna therapeutics.'
Inventor(s) include Deependra Pratap Singh.
The application for the patent was published on Dec. 12, under issue no. 50/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention provides a smart nanoparticle device (100) for targeted delivery of RNA therapeutics. The device comprises a core (101) encapsulating RNA molecules, a stimuli-responsive shell (102), and a surface layer (103) functionalized with ligands for receptor-mediated targeting. A stabilizing PEG layer (104) ensures biocompatibility and circulation stability. Upon reaching target cells, the shell (102) disassembles under acidic or enzymatic conditions, releasing RNA cargo efficiently into the cytoplasm. The system enables controlled, specific, and safe RNA-based therapy."
