MUMBAI, India, Feb. 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641018564 A) filed by Muthayammal Engineering College, Namakkal, Tamil Nadu, on Feb. 18, for 'a smart iot system utilizing machine learning for real-time behavioral analysis.'
Inventor(s) include Mr. S. Saranraj; Mrs. M. Swathisriranjani; Dr. J. Rangarajan; Mr. P. Madhavan; Anandkumar J; Baranidharan K; Karuthayya V; Logajith V N; Yerragunta Prakash; Bhavanasi Sai Mourya; and Udaykiran V.
The application for the patent was published on Feb. 27, under issue no. 09/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses a smart Internet of Things system integrated with machine learning for real-time behavioral analysis in distributed environments. Distributed IoT sensor nodes continuously monitor behavioral and contextual data and transmit data to edge computing nodes and centralized analytics platforms. Machine learning models analyze historical and real-time data to classify behaviors, detect anomalies, and predict future behavioral patterns. A decision orchestration module dynamically controls devices, generates alerts, and provides recommendations based on behavioral insights. The system supports continuous learning, federated model training, security, and fault tolerance, enabling adaptive and autonomous behavioral intelligence for smart environments."
