The application for the patent was published on Feb. 13, under issue no. 07/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Automation is helping farms work better and faster. In animal farming, farmers need to keep an eye on the animals all the time to keep them safe and healthy. Older ways of doing this need people to look at animals all day, which can be slow and sometimes not good enough as it requires lot of effort and time of farmers and caretakers. The Smart Animal Monitoring System uses sensors to check animal's temperature, heart rate, movement, and where they are by using sensors. These sensors send the information to a computer system using wireless signals. The system uses smart computer programs to find out if something is wrong with the animals. If something is unusual like the animals acting strange, it sends a message to the farmer's phone or computer right away. This helps farmers see problems early, act quickly, and take care of animals from anywhere. The system also saves time, needs fewer workers to take care of animals, and hence helps farmers make better choices for their animals."
