MUMBAI, India, May 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611053209 A) filed by Noida Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, on April 27, for 'a smart fermentation control system using metabolic feedback.'
Inventor(s) include Neeraj Agarwal; and Dr. Richa Mittal.
The application for the patent was published on May 29, under issue no. 22/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A smart fermentation control system comprises a bioreactor unit, a sensor network, a data acquisition and synchronization module, a metabolic inference engine, a decision controller, an actuator interface, a historical model repository, and an operator dashboard. Signals indicative of process conditions and metabolic behavior are fused to determine a physiological state of a culture. The controller adaptively regulates feed, aeration, agitation, temperature, and related variables according to the determined state, thereby improving fermentation stability, productivity, and batch reproducibility."
