According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to an intelligent accident detection and emergency response system (100) for motorcycles, termed A Smart alert device, designed to automatically detect crashes, preserve ride data, and initiate emergency alerts. The system includes a multi-sensor module (101) that monitors vehicle motion, tilt, and location using an IMU, GPS, and speed sensors. A main processing and control unit (102) performs sensor fusion, continuous data logging, and real-time accident detection. An alert and response module (103) activates visual and audible warnings on the motorcycle and paired mobile device, prompting the rider to confirm or cancel an event. An AI-based crash analysis module (104) evaluates crash severity when the rider does not respond. A communication module (105) generates and transmits SOS alerts to emergency contacts, hospitals, and authorities. A cloud connectivity module (106) securely uploads encrypted crash data. Together, these modules enable automated detection, rapid emergency response, and accurate post-accident analysis."
