Uma Maheswari; Dr. Pitambar Tulshiram Humane; Dr. Monika Soni; Mrs. Kshama Deshpande; Mrs. S. Amutha; and Dr. V. Shyamala, Trichy, Tamil Nadu, on Jan. 30, for 'a silver nanoparticle-infused mycofilter derived from pleurotus florida cultivated on agricultural waste for water purification.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The system (100) includes a silver nanoparticle-infused mycofilter derived from Pleurotus florida cultivated on agricultural waste for water purification comprising a substrate preparation unit (102), a fungal cultivation unit (104), a mycelium harvesting unit (106), a silver nanoparticle infusion unit (108), a filter assembly unit (110), and a water purification unit (112), wherein the substrate preparation unit (102) prepares agricultural waste, the fungal cultivation unit (104) grows Pleurotus florida mycelium, the mycelium harvesting unit (106) collects fungal biomass, the silver nanoparticle infusion unit (108) embeds antimicrobial nanoparticles, the filter assembly unit (110) forms a filtration structure, and the water purification unit (112) removes contaminants from water. The invention enhances water purification efficiency and promotes sustainable, bio-based filtration solutions."
