MUMBAI, India, May 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611052777 A) filed by Noida Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, on April 25, for 'a self-cleaning solar panel mounting structure.'

Inventor(s) include Atul Ranjan; and Dr. Mukul Saxena.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A self-cleaning solar panel mounting structure includes a base support frame, mounting rails, panel clamps, an upper guide housing, a traversing cleaning carriage, a drive assembly, a controller module, sensors, an optional fluid dispensing line, and a lower debris collection channel. The cleaning carriage travels across the panel surface under control of the controller module to remove contaminants and direct them into the debris collection channel, thereby maintaining improved photovoltaic exposure with reduced manual cleaning effort."
