The wireless communication tag (202) may be configured to emit a first set of wireless signals (204) and a second set of wireless signals (206). The system may further comprise a first signal detector (208) configured to be integrated into a fuel dispensing nozzle (104). The first signal detector may be configured to detect the first set of wireless signals when the fuel dispensing nozzle is positioned proximate to the fuel tank inlet. The system may additionally comprise a second signal detector (210) configured to be connected to a diagnostic port (212) of the vehicle. The second signal detectors may be configured to detect the second set of wireless signals."
