MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441016574 A) filed by Tvs Motor Company Limited, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on March 7, 2024, for 'a saddle type vehicle.'
Inventor(s) include Sivaram Srinivasan; Anand Motilal Patil; and Kandregula Srinivasa Rao.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a saddle type vehicle (10). The saddle type vehicle comprises a frame assembly, one or more battery units (16) and a motor unit (18). The frame assembly comprises a head tube (12) and a main tube (14) extending rearwardly and downwardly from the head tube (12). The one or more battery units (16) are mounted at least partially on the main tube (14). The motor unit (18) is mounted on the frame assembly in a region below the one or more battery units (16)."
