MUMBAI, India, April 17 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621023582 A) filed by Ve Commercial Vehicles Ltd., Dhar, Madhya Pradesh, on Feb. 27, for 'a rubber bolster assembly for a vehicle suspension system.'

Inventor(s) include Krishna Srikanth Achanta; Ashutosh Dubey; Suyash Gupta; and Bhushan R Kukekar.

The application for the patent was published on April 17, under issue no. 16/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A rubber bolster assembly (100) for a vehicle suspension system (102) is disclosed. The rubber bolster assembly (100) comprises a rubber bolster (104) including a square-shaped bolster body configured to provide an increased load-bearing area and enhanced lateral stiffness. The rubber bolster assembly (100) further comprises at least one Z-shaped intermediate plate (106) disposed within the rubber bolster (104) and bonded thereto, the Z-shaped intermediate plate (106) being configured to transfer applied loads across multiple planes. The rubber bolster assembly (100) further comprises a mounting assembly (108) configured to mount the rubber bolster (104) onto a leaf spring arrangement (110). Further, the square-shaped bolster body reduces jamming of the rubber bolster (104) during suspension articulation. Further, the increased load-bearing area improves rubber-to-metal bonding strength and operational life of the rubber bolster (104)."
