MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411005636 A) filed by Maruti Suzuki India Limited, New Delhi, on Jan. 29, 2024, for 'a roof front header of a vehicle.'

Inventor(s) include Shikha Singh; and Shailesh Kumar Verma.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure relates to a roof front header of a vehicle. The roof front header (100) of a vehicle (200) comprises an elongated body (10) coupled to a roof panel (202) of the vehicle (200) and is defined with a pair of joggles (12) projecting 5 towards a cabin of the vehicle (200) and each joggle of the pair of joggles (12) is disposed in a spaced apart configuration. A mounting region (20) is interposed between the pair of joggles (12), to securely receive an inside rear-view mirror (IRVM) of the vehicle (200). Further, a bridge portion (30) integrally connects the pair of joggles (12) and the mounting region (20) to enhance stiffness of the 10 mounting region (20) and to dampen vibrations."
