The application for the patent was published on April 17, under issue no. 16/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses a parking air brake valve locking system (100) for the secure and controlled actuation of pneumatic parking brakes. The system (100) comprises a brake actuator cover (102) that features a rectangle locking groove (102a) with three distinct face positions, a locking land width (102b), a depth (102c), and a arc length (102d) configured to receive a locking element (104). The locking element (104) is further configured with an inner square portion (104a) receiving a support rod (106) that is positioned adjacent to a knob head (108) and incorporates a pulling diameter (104b) for manual operation by the operator. In use, an operator lifts the pulling diameter (104b), thereby releasing the locking element (104) from its engagement within the rectangle locking groove (102a) and enables an axial sliding movement to actuate the parking brake enabling unintentional unlocking of the brake actuation of the vehicle."
