Inventor(s) include Archit Nema; Ashray Mangal; and Dev Khanduja.
The application for the patent was published on May 29, under issue no. 22/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a rise-up packaging box(100). The present invention includes a packaging box(100), a base(102), a lid(104), a pivot edge(106) and an internal engaging surface(108) and a structural stop(110). The base(102) configured to hold the product. The lid(104) movably connected to the base(102) and configured to move between a closed and an open position. The pivot edge(106) connecting the lid(104) to the base(102) and permitting rotational movement of the lid(104) relative to the base(102). The internal engaging surface(108) being configured to engage the product and supporting surface associated with the product during opening of the lid(104). The rotation of the lid(104) about the pivot edge(106) causes the internal engaging surface(108) to apply an upward force on the product, thereby converting rotational motion of the lid(104). The upward displacement is achieved solely through structural configuration of the lid(104) and the base(102) without the use of additional mechanical components."
