The application for the patent was published on Feb. 27, under issue no. 09/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a smart irrigation system configured to automate and remotely control irrigation pump motors. The system comprises a microcontroller-based controller unit integrated with dual-mode user input including a mobile application interface and a handheld field remote, a real-time clock module for scheduled irrigation, and a motor relay driver for switching control. The system further includes a three-phase voltage monitoring circuit configured to detect phase loss, imbalance, or under-voltage conditions and automatically disable the motor to prevent damage. During scheduled irrigation, upon detection of a power interruption, the controller stores elapsed irrigation time in non-volatile memory and resumes operation for only the remaining duration after restoration of power. A weather-resistant camera module provides real-time video transmission of the irrigation site to the mobile application. A hybrid power management circuit selectively switches between solar input, grid supply, and battery backup based on availability. Current sensing and power factor correction mechanisms provide electrical protection and efficiency optimization. The invention provides an integrated irrigation controller combining remote operation, electrical safety monitoring, intelligent scheduling, and hybrid power management within a single embedded system.
