According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The disclosure herein generally relates to a reinforcement assembly (100), and particularly, relates to the reinforcement assembly (100) for a vehicle hood and a method (200) of assembling the reinforcement assembly (100). The reinforcement assembly (100) includes an inner panel (102). The inner panel (102) includes hinge portions (110a, 110b) and striker portions (112a, 112b). Each of the striker portions (112a, 112b) includes striker brackets (106). The inner panel (102) defines a reinforcement region (104) extending from one hinge portion (110a) to another hinge portion (110b) through the striker portions (112a, 112b). The reinforcement region (104) is an integrated region of the inner panel (102) and defines a constant sectional profile throughout. The reinforcement region (104) provides stiffness to the inner panel (102), thereby enables effective load transfer from one side of the inner panel (102) to another side of the inner panel (102)."
