MUMBAI, India, Feb. 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621004292 A) filed by Pranav Jitendra Rachh, Vadodara, Gujarat, on Jan. 16, for 'a reinforced porous pipe with integrated internal partition walls and method for manufacture thereof.'
Inventor(s) include Pranav Jitendra Rachh.
The application for the patent was published on Feb. 27, under issue no. 09/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A reinforced porous pipe is disclosed, the pipe comprising a porous thermoplastic pipe wall (22) defining an internal cavity (24) and one or more internal partition walls (26, 28) that extend longitudinally within the internal cavity. The porous thermoplastic pipe wall (22) comprises interconnected pores configured to permit fluid passage, and the one or more internal partition walls (26, 28) are formed integrally with the pipe wall during extrusion. The internal partition walls may include a single longitudinal wall or a plurality of radially arranged walls extending from a central region (30) toward an inner surface of the pipe wall, thereby defining multiple internal channels. The disclosure further relates to methods of manufacturing the pipe by extruding a porous thermoplastic compound through a die equipped with one or more mandrels configured to shape the internal cavity and the internal partition walls, followed by cooling to stabilize material and pore characteristics."
