MUMBAI, India, July 25 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411005039 A) filed by Havells India Limited, Noida, Uttar Pradesh, on Jan. 24, 2024, for 'a refrigerator system with a hot chamber unit.'
Inventor(s) include Praveen Agrawal; Ashish; and Srinivasa Pattabi.
The application for the patent was published on July 25, under issue no. 30/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides a refrigerator system [100] comprising a refrigerator unit [102], and a hot chamber unit [104] installed on top of the refrigerator unit [102]. In particular, the hot chamber unit [104] comprises a cuboidal hot chamber housing [106] and a separation wall [108] therein. Further, the hot chamber unit [104] defines a hot storage region [106a] and a heat emitting region [106b] on either side of the separation wall [108]. The heat emitting region [106b] is adapted to accommodate at least one component of a refrigeration cycle of the refrigerator system [100]. Notably, the heat emitted from the refrigerator unit [102] is routed to the hot storage region [106a] of the hot chamber unit [104], through the heat emitting region [106b] thereof, by way of natural convection."
