Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'A Refractory Safety Brick, Its Composition And Process Of Preparing The Brick' Filed by Raj Refractories Private Limited

MUMBAI, India, Jan. 23 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531109588 A) filed by Raj Refractories Private Limited, Ranchi, Jharkhand, on Nov. 11, 2025, for 'a refractory safety brick, its composition and process of preparing the brick.'

Inventor(s) include Biyani, Rajeev; Biyani, Hari Prasad; Samanta, Aniruddha; and Pandit, Om Prakash.

The application for the patent was published on Jan. 23, under issue no. 04/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure discloses a refractory safety brick with enhanced life and reduced thermal conductivity having a front face (01) configured with grooves (02,03,04) for holding backfill material which prevents metal penetration or puncture; a rear face (05) opposite to the front face (01); and a plurality of side faces (06, 07) with tapered edges (08, 09) extending between the front face (01) and the rear face (05). The disclosure also discloses a refractory safety brick composition and a process for manufacturing the refractory safety brick."
