MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441028097 A) filed by Tricog Health Pte Ltd, Singapore, on April 5, 2024, for 'a reduced electrode configuration wearable ecg chest belt and method of manufacturing thereof.'

Further, the belt comprising a belt appendage (204) comprising at least two electrodes, wherein the at least two electrodes comprise: an S electrode, and an R electrode, wherein the belt appendage (204) extends from the belt (102). Furthermore, the belt comprises a sensor unit (206) comprising at least one sensor for real-time detection of the ECG signals, wherein the ECG signals are analyzed to provide at least one alert to a user to position the belt (102) correctly."
