MUMBAI, India, May 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611052785 A) filed by Noida Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, on April 25, for 'a quick-lock solar panel support frame.'

The application for the patent was published on May 29, under issue no. 22/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A quick-lock solar panel support frame includes base mounts, longitudinal support rails, cross braces, seating pads, adjustable end stops, lock carriers, quick-lock members, and release levers. A solar panel frame is placed on the seating pads and aligned by the end stops, whereupon the quick-lock members automatically engage the panel frame. The arrangement enables rapid installation, secure retention against uplift and vibration, controlled release for maintenance, and adaptable deployment in rooftop and ground-mounted photovoltaic systems."
