MUMBAI, India, July 25 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411001303 A) filed by Deen Dayal Upadhyay; Ankit Goyal; Arpita Dwivedi; Dr. Sutanu Maji; and Dr. Gajanan Pandey, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, on Jan. 8, 2024, for 'a process of preparing zno and tio2 nanoparticles using ipomoea carnea leaf extract.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a process of preparing ZnO and TiO2 nanoparticles by using aqueous extract of Ipomoea carnea (morning glory) leaves and the effect of foliar spray of ZnO and TiO2 NPs was evaluated in respect of vegetative growth, yield and quality of black carrot (Daucus carota L.) cv. Pusa Asita."
