MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202421022198 A) filed by Zydus Lifesciences Limited, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, on March 22, 2024, for 'a process for the preparation of intermediates for the preparation of a triaminopyrimidine compound.'

Inventor(s) include Singh, Kumar Kamlesh; Singh, Nikhil Amar; Ghodasara, Hardik Bhikhubhai; Joshi, Prabhakar Ramchandra; and Lalpara, Jaydeep Nanjibhai.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of intermediates for the preparation of a triaminopyrimidine compound. Particularly, the invention relates to an improved process for the preparation of 4-cyclopropyl-5-fluoro-6-methylpyridin-2-amine, a compound of Formula I or a salt, or hydrate thereof. The compound of Formula I is one of the useful intermediate for the preparation of a triaminopyrimidine compound of Formula VII."
