MUMBAI, India, May 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621027484 A) filed by L. M. College Of Pharmacy, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, on March 9, for 'a process for the preparation of enzyme based bioadsorbent.'
Inventor(s) include Sulekha Ghosh; and Dr. Mahesh Chhabaria.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of enzyme based bioadsorbent. More particularly it relates to the preparation of enzyme based bioadsorbent using agriculture waste and oxidative enzyme. More particularly it combine the benefits of agricultural waste-derived activated carbon with immobilized oxidative enzymes for superior pharmaceutical removal performance from water.
