According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses a method of preparing a polyherbal spray formulation for accelerated healing of diabetic wounds. The method comprises dissolving dried and powdered Amla in warm distilled water to obtain Amla extract solution. Medical-grade honey is warmed separately, and the Amla extract solution is slowly added under continuous stirring to form homogeneous blend. Glycerin, propylene glycol, and polysorbate-20 are incorporated into the blend under stirring to form a main mixture. Polyvinylpyrrolidone is dissolved in warm distilled water and added into the main mixture under stirring to obtain a stabilized mixture. Sodium benzoate and potassium sorbate are dissolved in distilled water and added into the stabilized mixture and the volume is adjusted with distilled water to form a preservative-added stabilized mixture. The mixture is then homogenized at high shear to obtain a stable dispersion, which is subsequently filtered, deaerated, and filled into sterile spray bottles under aseptic conditions."
