MUMBAI, India, Jan. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511102462 A) filed by Graphic Era, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, on Oct. 24, 2025, for 'a process for genome-wide crispr screening in mammalian cells.'

The application for the patent was published on Dec. 12, under issue no. 50/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention provides a process for genome-wide CRISPR screening in mammalian cells comprising sgRNA library (101), lentiviral delivery system (102), mammalian cell culture (103), CRISPR-Cas9 complex (104), sequencing module (105), and target gene identification output (106).
