MUMBAI, India, Jan. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511102119 A) filed by Graphic Era, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, on Oct. 23, 2025, for 'a process for engineering algae for sustainable biofuel production.'
Inventor(s) include Deependra Pratap Singh.
The application for the patent was published on Dec. 12, under issue no. 50/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention discloses a process for engineering algae for sustainable biofuel production involving modules including (101) algal strain selection, (102) genetic engineering, (103) photobioreactor cultivation, (104) lipid extraction, (105) biofuel conversion, and (106) sustainability monitoring.
