MUMBAI, India, April 20 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202514094363 A) filed by Nokia Solutions And Networks Oy, Espoo, Finland, on Sept. 30, 2025, for 'a pre-distorter for compensating power amplifier non-linearities.'

The application for the patent was published on April 17, under issue no. 16/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "According to an aspect, an apparatus may comprise a dig- ital pre-distorter, DPD, circuitry including at least one first-order infinite impulse response, IIR, filter and at least one second-order IIR filter. The apparatus may fur- ther comprise a power amplifier, at least one processor 10 and at least one memory comprising instructions which, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the apparatus at least to compensate for non-linearities in the power amplifier by using the at least one first-order IIR filter and the at least one second-order IIR filter."
