MUMBAI, India, April 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441076712 A) filed by Bosch Limited; and Robert Bosch Gmbh, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Oct. 9, 2024, for 'a power tool with a handle assembly and a handle assembly thereof.'

Inventor(s) include Jeffrey Thomson Mathew; Arun Krishnan; and Vigneshwar Sourirajan.

The application for the patent was published on April 10, under issue no. 15/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The handle assembly 110 is mounted to a support arm 102. The handle assembly 110 comprises a carrying handle 106 comprising a connecting portion 104 and a first end 108. The carrying handle 106 is fixable to the support arm 102 through the connecting portion 104. The power tool 100, characterized in that, comprises a main handle 116 comprising a grip portion 114 and a second end 112. The main handle 116 is couplable with the carrying handle 106 by rotatable engagement 120 between the first end 108 and the second end 112 through a complementary profiles 120 therebetween. The main handle 116 is rotatable in at least two positions with reference to the first end 108. The users are able to adjust the main handle 116 to a comfortable position, reducing fatigue and discomfort during extended use. A single power tool 100 provides two positions of main handle 116."
