MUMBAI, India, April 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441076709 A) filed by Bosch Limited; and Robert Bosch Gmbh, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Oct. 9, 2024, for 'a power tool and a washer for a support arm of the power tool.'

Inventor(s) include Jeffrey Thomson Mathew; Arun Krishnan; and Vigneshwar Sourirajan.

The application for the patent was published on April 10, under issue no. 15/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The power tool 100 comprises a base 104, a support frame 108 positioned at one end of the base 104, a support arm 112 comprising a first end pivotably mounted to the support frame 108 and a second end carrying a saw blade assembly 102. The support arm 112 is pivoted about a shaft held between two ends of the support frame 108. The shaft inserted through mounting holes 106 on the two ends of the support frame 108, characterized in that, the support arm 112 comprises a profile 200 provisioned with the pivot hole 206, and a washer 110 assembled complementing the profile 200. The washer 110 is positioned between the mounting holes 106 of the support frame 108 and the pivot holes 206 of the support arm 112 before final assembly to reinforce the movement of the support arm 112."
