MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521110130 A) filed by Vipul P. Bumb; and Prathamkumar V. Bumb, Nashik, Maharashtra, on Nov. 12, 2025, for 'a power factor management system with state-dependent reactor coordination.'
Inventor(s) include Vipul P. Bumb; and Prathamkumar V. Bumb.
The application for the patent was published on Dec. 12, under issue no. 50/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention discloses a power factor correction system comprising a controller (1), measurement transducers (2), inductive compensation assembly (3), HT capacitor bank (4), saturable reactor (5), communication interface (6), HT transformer (7), HT incomer (8), and load (9). The controller (1) receives real-time voltage and current data from transducers (2), classifies system states such as import, export, and generator modes, and applies closed-loop logic to maintain the desired power factor. Reactive power is dynamically balanced through coordinated operation of the inductive compensation assembly (3), capacitor bank (4), and reactor (5) via the communication interface (6). Connected between the HT incomer (8) and load (9) through the HT transformer (7), the system ensures efficient, state-dependent reactive power management for stable grid performance."
