MUMBAI, India, Feb. 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611005554 A) filed by Suresh Gyan Vihar University, Jaipur, Rajasthan, on Jan. 20, for 'a portable solar powered grain drying unit for small farms.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Ajeet Singh Shekhawat; and Dr. Sarmad Moin.
The application for the patent was published on Feb. 27, under issue no. 09/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a portable solar powered grain drying unit (100) for small farms. The unit comprises a solar panel assembly (110), a drying chamber (130) with perforated trays (131), an air circulation system (140), and a control unit (120). The invention enables uniform and energy-efficient drying of grains without reliance on grid electricity or fossil fuels. The portable design allows easy deployment in farm environments, reducing post-harvest losses and improving grain quality."
