MUMBAI, India, May 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202631043095 A) filed by Narula Institute Of Technology, Kolkata, West Bengal, on April 4, for 'a portable solar energy harvesting and smart charging system integrated into a school bag.'

By embedding these components within a wearable carrier, the invention enables sustainable, off-grid energy utilization, making it particularly suitable for students and individuals in transit or in areas with limited access to electrical infrastructure."
