MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521105127 A) filed by PDPM Indian Institute Of Information Technology, Design And Manufacturing, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, on Oct. 30, for 'a portable modular water filtration system.'
Inventor(s) include Jain, Aanya; Raut, Vasudha; and Bhattacharjee, Amrita.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 21, under issue no. 47/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses a portable modular water filtration system comprising a flexible silicone body (1) housing multiple replaceable filter pods (3). The system incorporates a magnetic sealing strip (2) along its body, allowing easy opening and closing for cleaning or replacement of pods (3). A universal attachment mechanism (4) at the inlet enables connection to various water sources including taps, bottles, and spouts. The flexible, compact, and modular design ensures efficient purification, easy maintenance, and long-term sustainable use."
