MUMBAI, India, Feb. 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511133244 A) filed by Hcl Technologies Limited, New Delhi, on Dec. 29, 2025, for 'a portable heating device for controlling temperature of fluids within containers.'

Inventor(s) include Lavesh Kumar; Jaikumar V; Vijay Kumar Turaga; and Shivakumar Bhavi.

The application for the patent was published on Feb. 6, under issue no. 06/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A portable heating device (104) and a container (102) for controlling the temperature of fluids within the container (102) are disclosed. The portable heating device (104) includes a first housing (202). The first housing (202) includes a replaceable heating element (208) configured to transfer heat to the fluid, a thermal spreader (210) positioned above the replaceable heating element (208) for uniform heat distribution and a thermal interface material positioned beneath the replaceable heating element (208). The portable heating device (104) includes a second housing (204) detachably coupled to the first housing (202). The second housing (204) includes at least one battery (212), a Printed Circuit Board (PCB) (214) and one or more ventilation slots (216) present on a periphery of second housing (204) to provide cooling to at least one battery (212) and the PCB (214). The portable heating device (104) includes a locking mechanism coupled to first housing (202)."
